Looking for a real backwoods Maine adventure? Come canoe into Maine's famous Allagash Lake and fish for native brook trout and lake trout! The trip starts at a nearby pond where we will canoe across and down the outlet stream into Little Allagash Stream and into Allagash Lake. We will set up camp from there and start fishing! The lake is full or large brook trout and lake trout which we will fish for from the canoe. The lake is part of the Allagash Wilderness Waterway which restricts watercraft to canoes and kayaks and no electric motors. I have a mini downrigger that can be attached to my canoes for trolling or we can throw flies. While we are there we can check out the ice caves and on the way out we will portage around Little Allagash Falls if conditions allow. I will supply all camp materials and food as well as canoes and fishing gear. This is a minimum two night/three day trip. Cost is $300 per day per angler which includes everything including transportation. This is a truly untouched remote wilderness that very few get the opportunity to observe first hand.
